•WILLIAM H. KASPER

William H. Kasper, 75, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at his home.

He was born April 28, 1948, in Toledo, to William and Lillian M. (Dehart) Kasper.

William served in the Ohio National Guard for six years and was a mechanical engineer for D.E. I.

A member of Ottawa River Yacht Club for more than 40 years, William also tinkered with boats, as well as snowmobiles, motorcycles and cars. He had owned a Chevy II / NOVA, Impala, and his favorite, a Camaro. Additionally, William enjoyed golfing, shooting pool and fishing.

Cherishing his memory is his wife of 39 years, Barbara (Holmes) Kasper; daughter, Susie Love; granddaughter, Jennifer (Will) Browder; nephews, Mark (Debbie) Dodson, and Duane and Bill Dodson, and brother-in-law, Harold Dodson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian, and brothers, Bob and Donald Kasper.

David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, Toledo has been entrusted with arrangements.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, February 24, at Ottawa River Yacht Club, 5844 Edgewater Drive, Toledo, from noon to 3 p.m.
