The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation has released its Camp Canopy schedule for June 9 to 14, at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum. Registration is open to students who are entering ninth grade through graduating high school seniors.

Friendship Park Community Center has posted the weekly menu for the community lunches. Guests are asked for donations of $2.50 per meal, and lunch is served at 11:45 a.m.

A lemonade war will be held at Meadowvale Elementary on Wednesday, Thursday and Monday, May 8, 9 and 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. The event is an engaging, literature-based project that encourages students to use their creativity to plan and design a successful, real-life lemonade stand from start to finish.

Trauma situations can quickly deplete hospital blood banks. During Trauma Awareness Month, the American Red Cross needs donors to help ensure a strong, stable blood supply is available at a moment’s notice.

Friendship Park Community Center’s next veterans lunch is Thursday, May 16, at 12:30 p.m. Memorial Day will be celebrated early, with a program honoring all who served and are no longer with us.
