The Whitmer Panthers entered the post season as the odds on favorite, facing off against a Northern Lakes League opponent–the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets– whom they beat only a few weeks prior during regular season.

The second 3on3 Youth Basketball Tournament will take place Thursday, July 28, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Friendship Park basketball court, 2930 131st Street. The event is co-sponsored by Friendship Park Community Center, Toledo Police Department’s Police Athletic League (PAL) and City of Toledo parks and youth services.
